Health & Safety
We are members of Site Safe, the national organisation dedicated to promoting a culture of health & safety in the construction industry. We have an established partnership with the ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices programme.
On every project, we utilize our office-based health & safety management system, and have a health & safety representative on staff that specifically deals with managing health & safety risks. Before any site work begins, hazard identification, training requirements, traffic management, Worksafe NZ notifications, and site specific emergency planning are all completed. On site, sub-contractors are required to sign off a safety plan and attend ‘Tool Box’ meetings to ensure all trades are aware of scheduled activity or changes, while visitors and clients are hosted on site and safety requirements are reinforced through site entrance hazard boards.
